About Cajun's Wharf

The Cajun's Wharf ownership group has been working together creating culinary experiences for groups and individuals since 1975 when the landmark restaurant and entertainment venue opened.

Known for great seafood, an extensive and exceptional wine list and its 10,000-square foot bar and outdoor deck area (which underwent a $1 million remodel in May 2004), Cajun's has won numerous awards throughout the years, including Best Seafood, Best Bar, Best Entertainment and numerous others. Cajuns has also been the recipient of the prestigious Wine Spectators Award of Excellence (first awarded in 2001 and given every year since) and the Wine Enthusiast Award of Distinction.

In addition to Cajun's Wharf, our holdings include Capers restaurant, which opened on Highway 10 in Little Rock in Fall 1997, and the Market at Capers, a beautiful, gourmet-to-go market opened directly behind Capers in November 2005. Capers is a favorite for area food and wine enthusiasts and has won many accolades: Best Outside Dining, Most Romantic, Best Wine List and many others.

The newest addition to our culinary endeavors is Copper Grill and Grocery located the 300 Third Tower on the corner of Third and Cumberland Streets in downtown Little Rock.

Cajun's Wharf doesn't allow cakes or balloons in the bar unless you have a confirmed banquet booked through Marilyn Greene.

We will allow cakes and balloons for groups that have confirmed dinner reservations in the dining room and semi-private rooms. 


Reservation Policy and Minimum Food & Beverage Charges

The following document outlines the obligation of the Host when booking a reservation. A reservation will be confirmed only when the host provides a credit card number by phone or in person and returns this email document to us with the subject line stating .

        “I agree to the terms as stated in this document”  

 Style and expectation of a Dinner Reservation;

 Cajun’s is a destination Seafood and Steak house. We have been operating on the banks of the Arkansas River in Little Rock since 1975. When booking a reservation for Dinner Service in our dining room, it is expected that guests will enjoy a multi-coursed dining experience, typically with two to three courses. As well, we feature a Wine Spectator Award Winning Wine list and a full bar with every category of specialty beverages.

Taking into account that our average entrée cost is $26.00, we have defined a Food and Beverage minimum for groups who have made reservations and for whom we are holding space.

 Additionally, for weekend nights and all nights during the month of December, our smaller rooms within the dining room as well as large party areas out in the main dining room will be booked with at least two parties. We can easily provide a multi-coursed dining experience for a group within a 2 hour time frame. Thus, a reservation does not provide a specific room or space to your group for the entire evening. (Another reason why it is important for your group to arrive on time). If it is your group’s desire to occupy a space for longer than the two hours, may we suggest a larger banquet room which is designed for a single reservation per evening?   

 If this style of dining is not what you have in mind, we can offer a more relaxed environment with a much more casual menu in our bar area. As well, seasonally, our beautiful deck overlooking the Arkansas River can be a great spot to enjoy food, fellowship and entertainment. The bar is well laid out with ample seating and has many areas for groups to gather. We do not reserve space in the bar. It is seated on a first come, first serve basis.     

 Based on lighter demand for seating, we have more flexibility in accommodating large parties on Monday thru Thursday. So, we are able to reduce the Food and Beverage minimums for reservations made on those days. Please see below the specifics for weekday and weekend reservations:

 For parties over 20, the food & beverage minimum will be calculated on the guaranteed number of guests based on $35.00 per person.

 For larger parties or if a private banquet room will better accommodate your needs, please contact Marilyn Greene at 501-868-9298 or    She makes all arrangements for our banquet rooms which accommodate 25-250 people. As well, she is our full service event planner and handles all off-site catered events.

 Arriving on time and with your entire Group;

 First, it is an important point of service that we start a group’s introduction and order process at the same time and not staggered as later guests arrive.  Thus, we will not seat a party until your group has assembled within (3) people of your confirmed head count. If the group is not ready to be seated in 20 minutes after the reservation time, we will break down (dismantle) the reserved tables and seat those tables with waiting guests. The reservation will then be placed on a waiting list for the next available, appropriately sized available table(s). 

 Secondly, Reservation policies are designed with the comfort of all our guests in mind. If a party does not start in a timely fashion, it will affect subsequent guests who are waiting for those tables. Thus, we can be more generous with seating standards during lighter nights such as Monday through Thursday. But, on Friday and Saturday evenings, our seating is in high demand and we will be very strict on arrival and seating policies. No Tolerance. 

 General Information:

 1) The Host (Person Booking the Reservation) is required to confirm the reservation with a credit card.

 2) The host understands that they personally will be responsible for meeting the minimum food and beverage requirement (as listed below).

 3) If the group has not met the minimum as set, the host will be billed for the difference at the conclusion of dinner. The food and beverage minimums do not include tax or gratuity.

 4) A server can prepare separate checks for individuals or couples within the group if prearrangements have been made or this request is made clear to the server at the beginning of dinner.  However, they will not be able to split portions of items and assign them to multiple checks.

 In the Event of Cancellation:

 The reservation can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance of the reservation time without any charge to your credit card. If the reservation is cancelled anytime after the 48 hour period has expired, there will be a $100.00 charge to your credit card.

 During the month of December, there will be a $200 charge for cancellations made after the 48 hour period has expired. Also, any party to fail to show for your reservation, without calling to cancel, will be charged $250.00.

 If you call to cancel a reservation, please speak to a member of management. There will be a cancellation number given to you at the time you call to cancel. Please retain this number for your records. No one other than a member of our management team can accept a cancellation or provide a cancellation number.

 Return of this email document to us with the subject line stating “I agree to the terms as stated in this document”   or by checking the box in paragraph #1 that “you agree to the terms as stated in this document” will guarantee your reservation and confirm that, as the host of the group, you are the responsible party for the minimum food and beverage charges.

Cocktail parties and receptions

The following is a sampling of appetizer styled items that we offer in addition to our restaurant dinner menu.

Imported and Domestic Cheese, Fresh Fruit, and Rustic European Breads
A beautiful display of artisan cheese accompanied with Asagio Pepper Bread and Spinach Feta Bread.
Confetti Dip
A delicious blend of spinach, fresh vegetables and cheese with just a touch of jalapeno for spice.  Accompanied with seasoned pita chips for dipping.
Sliced Pork Tenderloin
Tender pork tenderloin marinated with garlic, soy sauce, green onions and spices, then grilled to perfection and sliced.  Served with a country Dijon Sauce.
Sliced Beef Tenderloin
The most tender cut of beef rubbed with coarse black pepper and roasted garlic.  The tenderloin is grilled to your specifications and presented with horseradish sauce.  For a special touch, add beautiful asparagus to the tray.
Fried Crawfish Tails
Crispy Fried Louisiana Tails served with spicy cocktail sauce and Creole mustard.
Boiled Shrimp
Cajun's spicy shrimp served in the rough with cocktail sauce and lemons
Crabmeat and Wild Mushroom Cheesecake
Not your average cheesecake!  This one is a savory cheesecake made with fresh lump crabmeat, Portobello and Shitake mushrooms and baked.  Served with a Cajun buerre blanc.
